Project Brief

Over the past 10 years, China-ASEAN community of destiny has taken new steps forward, and the role of humanistic exchanges as an important pillar of China-ASEAN relations has become more prominent. The two sides should work together to organize the Year of Humanistic Exchange, enhance mutual respect and trust, and work together as the purveyor and builder of China-ASEAN friendship; promote mutual benefit and deepen all-round economic, trade and investment cooperation; strengthen mutual learning and appreciation, and promote Asian values centered on peace, cooperation, inclusiveness and integration.

In this design proposal, we emphasize the regional cultural characteristics of both sides, and after collecting information on the cultures, customs and regional characteristics of both sides, we decided to use "architecture" as the entry point. By incorporating architectural symbols with the cultural characteristics of both sides into the graphic, the design combines the historical and cultural heritage of the region with humanistic exchanges and scientific development, and at the same time is in line with the long-cherished vision of "cooperation, exchanges, prosperity, and friendship".
